Oriental dance

Oriental dance means surrendering to the music while dancing, merging with it and letting the feelings flow so that the movement can unfold in its natural beauty.
If you feel like getting to know this primeval feminine dance and its archaic, beautiful dance figures, you are warmly welcomed. With us there is a lot of space to play with the movements, to feel them until they become more and more your own. It is important to us that you can learn in a relaxed manner and with joy. Each hour begins with a dance-like warm-up, which optimally attunes the body to the dance, and ends with a cool-down that is relaxing for the body and senses. The course content also includes improvisation, exercises to promote expression and body awareness, and relaxation techniques. We have many years of teaching experience and are passionately committed to our students.

By the way, it's never too late to start belly dancing. The dance is so gentle and body-friendly that it can still be practiced or learned even in old age. Just let us advise you. We have the right course for every woman and her needs.

The oriental dance in general

The oriental dance or belly dance is one of the oldest dance forms and is originally a pure improvisation dance that seeks a close symbiosis with the music. It is extremely multifaceted and full of archaic symbolism. Today more and more women around the world are rediscovering it as a very personal form of expression of femininity, sensuality and strength. The circular and snake-shaped movements gently relieve tension, the rocking of the pool sprouts a whole new self-confidence and the ecstatic vibration awakens the "happiness hormones". Women often describe themselves as happy and wonderfully relaxed after a class.

BellyWell - improvisation, bodywork & relaxation

Do you want to relax? Are you looking for a gentle workout for your back? Would you like to discover movement in a new way? Do you just like to dance?

BellyWell is a new concept that combines elements of oriental dance and body work in order to gently dissolve blockages and get the body flowing.

At the beginning of every lesson there is a relaxed arrival in one's own center, followed by exercises that promote flexibility and strengthen the body. The transition to the oriental dance figures is fluid and you can experience that the difficult thing is often to allow the easy. However, the more consciously we learn to perceive our body itself, to feel where we are blocking ourselves, the more transparent and easier the individual movements become. Accompanying the participants sensitively is one of our main concerns.

BellyWell is a wonderful course for beginners, but also for people who may not have dared to tackle dance and movement before.
BellyWell also offers the ideal complement to normal dance classes, as the basic movements are trained with more time and with a different focus. The body work makes it possible to correct bad posture in the long term and to train the awareness for a relaxed handling of the body. Because only when a movement feels easy can it really be danced with pleasure.
